Are taxes and duties included with my international order?Updated a year ago

International orders placed via Global-E have the option to prepay the necessary duties and taxes at checkout. We recommend contacting your local customs office prior to placing your order as international shipping and customs policies vary widely from country to country.

International orders placed outside of Global-E, on our US site, will need to prepay the estimated duties and taxes before shipping to ensure your package is delivered safely to you. Orders placed outside of Global-E that have not paid the estimated duties and taxes will be canceled. 

Please note that VAT is included in the price of each item to abide by European Union tax law. You are not required to pay any additional taxes at checkout if this is the case.

Taxes and duties are not included in refunds.

 For clients placing international orders during a sitewide promotion, please note, all international orders must meet the qualifying amount in USD to receive the promotional discount.
